1) What is this signup for?
We are creating a group of LinkedIn verified advocates to coordinate advocacy efforts from rallies to meetings regarding EagleAct and Green Card wastage. Currently we are focused on setting up meetings with Representatives and Senators regarding EagleAct and Green Card wastage and we need verified advocates for those efforts.

2) Why do I need to login through LinkedIn?
LinkedIn accounts with real connections are harder to fake and hence we use LinkedIn information to verify people. We care about our advocates' online safety and only verified users will be allowed into our discord server. This creates a healthy space with trust since all the members are verified.

3) What is Discord?
Discord is a text/audio/video messaging app very similar to Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat/Spaces where teams can efficiently coordinate. Create an account at https://discord.com/ and download the app if you haven't already.

4) Why do I also need to login through Discord?
We are a volunteer run group and discord has powerful tools to automate the signup/verification process without much of manual effort. Once you signup, you will be automatically added to our state based discord group.

5) What happens with my data when I signup?
We use the data to coordinate advocacy efforts with you. It is securely stored in our servers and we will delete your data when you decide to exit our discord group.
