This bill fundamentally makes skills based immigration more merit based by removing national origin discrimination. According to congressional research, today, I have to wait more than a 100 years just to get a Green Card which is a pathway to citizenship. So basically I will be dead before I get my Green Card. This bill will level the playing field and gives me an equal shot at a Green Card. We request the representative to cosponsor HR3648 and support it when it comes to the floor for a vote.
